Got my certified divorce papers this week, had the FedEx paper work filled out before hand and my sister mailed it for me. Cost me $52.00, but was worth it and going to get my Affidavit next week. So all work out fine.

Hey guys just for my experience
To make sure my marriage is legit, i went to the NSO(National Statistic Office) gave my marriage contract number and got it printed out again but this time with the NSO stamp on it.
If there's no record of it in NSO, then you're legally not married yet. That goes for even new born babies registration.

Well then I guess we have not been married for 21 years
We registered our UK marriage with the London Embassy and received the form back stamped and signed. They were supposed to notify the NSO but did not. The Department of Foreign Affairs chased them on two occasions but got no response.

Wow..... don't know if i can reach that 21 years like yours, I'll probably be with our divine creator before that
.
Anyway didn't really believe the judge who solemnise us cos a month after that he passed on. Being a typical s'porean with the 'kiasu' syndrome just gotta be sure

These are the forms needed here in Lapu-Lapu in order to get a marriage license for my situation which was, my Fiancée parents did not have a proper ID to give consent for her to get married.
My Fiancée
1. Certificate of Residency ( since she did not have a valid ID with her address on it)
2. Parents consent since she was under 24 of age
3. (CENOMAR) certification of no marriage in the Philippines
4. CEDULA
5. Certificated Birth Certificate
6. Marriage Counseling (1 day)
7. Application for Marriage License
Me
1. Affidavit in Lieu of Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage for American Citizens
2. Certificate of Divorce Decree
3. Passport
4. (CENOMAR) certification of no marriage in the Philippines
5. Certificated birth certificate
6. Marriage Counseling (1 day)
7. Application for Marriage License
For Fiancée Parents so they can give consent
1. Barangay Clearance (since they did not have a valid ID for both of them)
2. Certificated copy of marriage license (since they did not have a valid ID)
Now that we have applied for a marriage license we can pick up our marriage license after it has been posted for 10 days.

Thanks Marko
Whats involved with getting the cenomar?
My consulate in Cebu said he would take direct me so i am glad for that. Our main problem right now is getting NSO to stamp fiancés anulment....i think it will take a trip to Manila to get some action. Its been a year and a half of paying off everybody from clerks to Judges and a blood sucking lawyer to get to this point. There always seems to be a signature to pay for %^$^&$%%*&^%$&^* ......sigh...we are so close.

From what I remember a CENOMAR, all the NSO did was check their data base here in the RP to see if I was married or not. Took 3 days to get it and my Fiancee had to get one also. They cost me 180 each. Had to fill out a form also at the NSO, needed my birth certificate for that form.
