Cost Of Living In Kalibo, Aklan (2012)

Rent:  8, 000 Peso per month

I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, in a compound that is safe and secure, and friendly neighbors.

Electric: 7, 000 pesos. I have 2  A/C, 4 fans, two TV's and washing machine.

Water: 600 pesos

Internet: 999 pesos

Cable: 400 pesos

Cost Of Living In Panay Island (2012)

Kind of Residence:

House. We paid cash for our house, P 2.0 million in 2004, so we don't have payments or monthly rent. We are a family of four and one helper, who is not a relative.

Electric:

Our monthly electric bill averages P10, 000 per month. We have two box type air cons 2.5 hp, fridge with freezer, 3 electric fans, 2 TV's, DVD player, Karaoke system, hot water heater, electric iron, toaster, electric toaster oven and 1 desktop and 2 laptops.

Gas Cost:

We use LPG for cooking and we spend P900 each month for one month. We also have a BBQ grill and use it about once per week and we use local charcoal. The cost of the charcoal is P250 for a large bag, which lasts more than one month.

Cost Of Living In Dasmarinas (2012)

We live in Dasmarinas, Cavite and here are our costs as best as I can estimate because they do vary:

Kind of Residence:

She owns a house that we've added on to a couple of times and I estimate the total cost at just over P5 million. We have two of the kids still living with us, while attending college at De LaSalle. The house seems to be the money pit and we probably are still spending a significant amount each month trying to get like we want it. I'm not going to put this amount in the total.

Electricity:

We pay around P4500 to P5000 a month for the electric bill. We a couple of air conditioning units, several ceiling fans and area fans, refrigerator/freezer, 10 cu. ft. freezer, kitchen appliances, irons, 2 laptops and 1 PC, 1 stereo, 2 42 "TV's and 2 21" TV's, Karaoke Machine, How water unit in the master shower.

Cost Of Living In Cagayan de Oro (2012)

Kind of Residence:

House. Mortgage P26, 500.00 per month.

Electric:

One desktop, one laptop, fridge, washing machine and dryer, fans. P1, 300 per month. We very rarely use the aircon.

Gas Cost:

We use LPG for cooking and we spent P500 per month.

Water:

Our city water bill averages P400 per month.

Cost Of Living In Bacolod City (2012)

Kind of Residence:

House. We paid cash for our house, P1.2 million in 2011, so we don't have payments or monthly rent. We are a family of 3 and 1 helper, who is not a relative.

Electric:

Our monthly electric bill averages P4, 000 per month. We have one split type air con, fridge with freezer, 3 electric fans, TV, DVD player, Karaoke system, hot water heater, electric iron, toaster, electric toaster oven and 2 laptops.
