Cost Of Living In Olongapo (2003)

This, below, came from an excellent site for those considering moving here and for other information. The last update of this cost of living was 2001. As of April 2003 the peso has further devalued. And though prices on imported goods are generally the same or more expensive in dollar terms, more inexpensive products from China are available at very low prices. Also, I feel rent has declined in dollar terms. Information below is from the Retired Affairs Office, Olongapo. Do visit their website, especially if you are military and even if not.

Data assembled 4/95; some items updated January 2001 for peso devaluation.
