KIND OF RESIDENCE: House
 
RENT : P25,000, 1 year in house, 3 living here (wife, 42 yo daughter, and myself)
 
ELECTRIC: P3,500 month, have had 2 brown outs in a year for about 1 hour each. 3 A/C's that get run about 18 hours each per year, 2 TV's, 2 Refrigerators, Washing machine, toaster, 3 computers, 2 shower water heaters.
 
GAS Costs; P800 month bottle gas

Cost Of Living In Agusan del Norte, Mindanao

PLACE: Buenavista, Agusan del Norte, Mindanao.

KIND OF RESIDENCE: House,

RENT in Peso per month. No rent. Been here most of three years. Wife will own the house once her parents are gone. Four of us living here.

ELECTRIC: 1500-2000. Short brown outs at least once a week. One t.v. One computer, two fans, and a refrigerator. no air con.

Cost Of Living In Sto. Tomas, Batangas

PLACE: San Antonio Heights, Ayala gated estate, Sto. Tomas, Batangas

KIND OF RESIDENCE: Bungalow 67 sq meters

RENT in Peso per month: 10,000 pesos a month, including housing assoc charges for guards etc.

ELECTRIC: Cost per month. Meralco, so few brownouts, Fan running 18 hrs a day, fridge freezer, computer running 24/7 about 1,700 pesos a month

Cost Of Living In Ormoc City, Leyte (2012)

I lived in Baybay City for a year, then we (wife, teenage daughter, and I) transferred to Ormoc City 2 years and 3 months ago.

As far as cost of living is concerned - you need to come here and find out for yourself!  Are you single, married or otherwise with someone?  Expenses will be different based on your situation and many other factors.  That being said, here's what I pay:

Kind of Residence:

Rent 4 bedroom, 2 CR house in good neighborhood in northwest part of Ormoc City:  P8,500 per month.  Some houses cheaper, some more.  Rent for 2-3 bedroom apartment anywhere from P6,000 - P15,000.

Electric:

Is always between P1,900 and P2,600 and we run two aircons at night (but not every night), use two water heaters in the CR's, 3 TV's on occasionally, desktop computer 6-8 hours a day, washing machine two days per week, charge two laptops and 3 cellphones, ref is cold like it should be, and 7 outside lights on when its dark.
